With the treatment you are taking you will never get cured... you these medicines just numbs your brain from extra activity... as soon as you will stop them the problems will start again and even more severe...
It can be cured by homoeoapthic treatment...

Dear lybrate-user,
If you are unable to tolerate any drug for OCD, please go in for cognitive therapy with exposure and response prevention therapy (ERP). It will be done on many weekly sessions by a clinical psychologist or CBT trained psychiatrist. If one of your friends or family joins as co therapist, it will be easy for you to do the homeworks in therapy. It can be done online also. You are young and suffering for long - don't allow your OCD and social phobia to spoil your future. Take ...more

Dear Lybrate user
it's good that you are taking help from psychiatrist. The course of medicines will be decided by him or her. With improvement in your condition he will also reduce the dosages too. But if you feel any side effects, it is advisable to speak to him.
Secondly I will also advice you to take some psychological therapy sessions from Clinical psychologist. This will help you in reducing your symptoms fast and make you feel better.
All the best.

Many medications you are taking may her causing side effects like speech, memory problem etc (They can occur in depression too. If you are not improving after 14 years of treatment *(It is continuous or intermittent). Your diagnosis may require a review. Your Personality has to be assessed and your attitude and coping up capacity of your life's stresses need to be assessed too. Continue medication and talk to your doctor.

Stay strong mentally and physically. These sound like withdrawal symptoms only. I would advice trusting your psychiatrist fully and taking your medications properly. I would also suggest taking counselling from someone specializing in addiction counselling and going for both individual and group therapy for faster results.
