Bupron also is antidepressant used for stopping smoking also. You may feel over tired and lethargic if both are used. Consult your psychiatrist.

Dear lybrate-user,
certain types of depression like recurrent or bipolar, need long term mood stabiliser like dicorate. It should not be stopped. Things are under control only because your mood is stable these days with dicorate. Please discuss with your psychiatrist about your diagnosis and also the bad effects of stopping. However you can reduce and stop lonazep since it is not for long term use.

The duration of treatment depends on the condition you are suffering from. If it is a mood disorder then treatment can be discontinued after a year or so. But if it is some psychotic disorder, then long term treatment is warranted. Kindly check up with a psychiatrist for asessment and drug discontinuation advice if possible.

Even if it takes time be patient and persevere until you really improve. Get a lot of support from your near and dear ones and just remembe...more

Dear Rahul,
You can not diagnose the disease from the tablets you are taking. The amazeo od can be given for many type of disorders at different doses. Same with bupron - given for stopping smoking to major depressive disorder. Unless i know the diagnosis, i can not advise you the duration of medicine. Please discuss with your doctor.

Hello Mubeen

I can suggest you some natural ways to get rid of all these things...............you can try:

You have a lot of things you’re feeling responsible for and feel a need to control. I would suggest you break it down into what you can and can’t control. You can control your academics and you might lighten up a bit. In the real world, eventually nobody cares about your academic record but how you perform on the job.

You cant control your parents or whether they ...more

I think you are being treated for bipolar depression. At the outset let me inform you that is a very difficult situation to rely on medication alone. You need to combine intense counseling to learn coping skills and techniques to handle the complications of life that is anyway challenging even for the ordinary person. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. In the meantime you can do ...more
