Hello lybrate-user, I can see you have given meds for wheeze, hopefully after paediatrician advise. First we have to understand that cough is a protective reflux of the body. Second, the medicine will depend on what causes the cough, whether it's viral uri or allergic type. Hello.
To answer your 2 different concerns pl (without knowing why you have been prescribed budesonide for lung? Long term or short term use?).
Budesonide and arvs- since you are using darunavir/ritonavir combo along with budesonide, it would be advisable to avoid budesonide use as its level may get increased, be it in any form, inhaler or spray, by ritonavir.
The preferred alternative is beclamethasone.

It is a steroid and then your baby will need it always and also in increasing doses.
Better take proper homoeopathic treatment.
It can cure it without dependence and side effects.
