If patient is asthmatic and the above drug could control her symptoms before pregnancy, then there is no harm if the drug is continued. But if patient is not asthmatic, it's better to go for other drugs.

Avoid cold exposure. Vaccinate as per protocol. Treat running nose if any. Get examined by a child specialist. To confirm diagnosis. Use of budate inhalation should b erestricted if asthma not suspected.

Dear Lybrate user, there is no documented / reported case of liver toxicity with use of budesonide & formoterol (budamate) inhaled drugs.
Since you have observed a rising of liver enzymes, it would be advisable to contact your treating doctor and reduce the dose of your inhaler (because all medicines pass through liver and may cause further problem)
you also need to contact a dm gastroenterology and try to find reason for liver problem.
Wishing you good health.

Dear
World over the treatment for asthma is inhalers. Also if. Your asthma has been controlled well for 20 yrs with stable lung function, you must continue inhalers. However it is advisable to seek a chest physician opinion with latest spirometry. You can contact me in private clinic.
