You may need to go with the medical prescription .it is advised to take the dose on a fixed time to ensure the effectiveness. Yes you must take your inhaler before going for exercise. Best is- Take Foracort inhaler 200
2puffs in morning and 2 puffs in the evening. And avoid dust (cover your face)

Hello,
You need a evaluation by the pulmonologist/ chest medicine specialist regarding the severity of disease and type of drug required.
At 5 months if medically required foracort as well as budecort and asthalin are safe.

May have to take budecort for life long with some adjustment. Can take combination of budecort and long acting beta 2 agonist by inhalation while visiting hilly areas. Bette ravoid taking metaprolol as it can increase asthma. Control gerd.

World over the treatment for asthma is inhalers. Also if. Your asthma has been controlled well for 20 yrs with stable lung function, you must continue inhalers. However it is advisable to seek a chest physician opinion with latest spirometry. You can contact me in private clinic.
