Stop the tablates that you are taking.After 7 days of stopping medicines start with the following medicines
Take Tab Phytolacca berry(Dr Wilmar Shawbe.German)
2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth
Eat Oats daily as it contains high fiber and helps in reducing fats effectively.
Avoid bakery products and too much of fermented food
Revert back

I am sorry to say NO. Depression is a mental disease. If your daughter is taking medicines for 18 months, she is ought to feel better. Now you may talk to your psychiatrist to slowly taper that medicine over a period of another 18 months. If symptoms relapse, the medicine should not be stopped. Work with your psychiatrist.
