I am 40 year old male having some breathing problem. Which asthma preventer medicine by inhalation with spacer I should use regularly.

Hello, I am marin and I am 25 years old male. I am 172 cm and 98 kgs. I got throat pain and fever and my gp prescribed me antibiotic called medoclav (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid). My dose was 3 times daily 1 pill, which is 125 mgs. When I started using it I got diarrhea and on the second day I started probiotic line forte (lactobacillus and bifidobacterium). On the 3rd day I felt better, but then I started feeling pain in my whole belly especially when I press it ot move and also I am feeling pain in my waist and little pain in my testicles. Could the reason be my treatment with the antibiotic and the probiotic or its something totally different? What can be this and what should I do? List of my medication: medoclav (amoxicillin + clavulanic acid) - 3 x 125 mg flavamed (ambroxol hydrochloride) - 3 x 15 mg olint (xylometazoline hydrochloride) 3 times daily ansibell (chlorhexidine dihydrochloride / benzocaine / enoxolone) 5 mg / 4 mg / 3 mg compressed lozenges vitamin c 2 x 500 mg line forte (lactobacillus and bifidobacterium)

Your doctor is treating you properly. Just make sure you are well hydrated and all these symptoms will subside as your gut recolonises with the good probiotics to replace the ones destroyed by the antibiotic co-amoxyclav (medoclav).

please use only plain ambroxol syrup, do not use omnacortil unless until indicated by doctor
and avoid all cold and sour foods
give sips of water to drink when there is cough

Is coffy cough syrup safe in pregnancy? My doctor prescribed it for cold and cough. But google says its not safe.

Ascoril plus contains terbutaline so not to be given over the counter as its indicated for wheeze. Give syp maxtra instead of ascoril plus.

Control asthma needs avoiding the allergens and taking bronchodilators like asthalin or better still terbutaline tablet and syrup. Also, nebulisation will help and avoid smoking and exposure to cold.

Have a history of suffering from asthmatic cough (don't know the exact technical name). Had asthma medication around 12 years back from patel chest delhi and then got relived of the inhalers. From past 8 months, suffering from heavy chest, heavy cough, whistle sound in breathing sometimes. Have been on formonide rotacap 1capsule twice a day, budecort plus levolin when inhalers when heavy cough, regular antacid zyra dsr. Also doxophylene and montek fx. Rhinitis too current problem - heavy acidity and gas from around 3 weeks, after eating everything. Secondly we had this consultation from an ent - is this right or should we go to patel chest again.

Dear, For children don’t use combination syrups. You can use plain ambroxol syrup if wet cough is troubling. Better go to a good pediatrician and take treatment. Take care.
