you can use steam inhalation with karvol plus. But consult a pulmonologist / ent surgeon before taking any medication. Avoid taking cough syrups without doctor's advice.

see the outcome of the treatment.if it is good then it is ok.if not ICS+laba(budamate) inhalation twice daily to be taken over prolonged period.

If your cough has become better and there is no associated fever or any other symptoms then you can discontinue the medicine and do saline gargles two three times a day also take steam inhalation twice a day I am sure you will be better in a few days.
