My 5 n half months baby girl gets cold and cough frequently since she was 4 months. Once she gets this she can't sleep for days. Kindly recommend permanent solution and also a medicine to give so that it gets cured immediately.

It could be bronchitis or early asthma. You can try a salbutamol inhaler and see if it helps. Also try to have a light dinner. A pulmonary function test and an examination by a doctor woyuld be best.

If you have asthma you must not smoke or go ear people who are smoking and avoid exposure to dust. You need to take inhalational bronchodilator like salbutamol daily
