Bmd 3 1000 IU Tablet Health Feed

Asked for male, 78 years old from Mumbai

My friend is diagnosed of bipolar disorder grade 1. Under medication since last two months. He is on Carbamazepine 2 times a day. Pls let me know if he can get cured fully. Can he get married and lead normal life? Will he be on medication for many years. What are the long term side effects of this drug?

BMD is relapsing and remitting type of illness. Symptoms are controlled with drugs.
Patient leads a normal life except in episodes.

I am 43 female, with no other diagnosed conditions, my various joints of body are hurting like inner knees, inner elbows, middle points of hips I can't sit on hard surface, feet heels end, beneath neck. Got test rbc, uric acid serum, glucose and rheumatoid factor checked under orthopedic surgeon surveillance. Everything is normal. Please help me doctors with my disease diagnosis and treatment. If all above mention report are normal than go for vitamin d and bmd test and crp ,aso titer.
Take calcium and vitamin rich diet.
Do regular exercises.

Go for some blood test like uric acid. Cbc.s calcium and bmd
counslt to gyncologist

My mother got pain yesterday while carrying pot water. She told some sound in back. From there she is feeling pain. She feeling the pain while waking and not able to sleep comfortable. But she not feeling pain while sitting and some time. Pain us during walk, while bending also little pain. Please advice, I am bit worried. How long it will take to recover.

May be vit d defeciancy.
Go for bmd test of hip and spine.
Sit in sun light.
Take vit d and calcium.
Check urs thyroid level also.

Hi, Whenever I turn my wrist or twist it, I can always hear some cracking noise. Is this normal? It doesn't cause pain is there any chances of osteoporosis.

Slight noise is common it is due to release of air from the joint space, if too much means which indicates severe degeneration and synovial fluid loss inside the joints. Just get a BMD test done for the same related joint.

Hi, your t score in bmd is low. You need to take adequate calcium and vitamin d supplement to increase it. For now i'll suggest calciferol 60000 unit /week for 8-12 weeks. Though there are better drug such as biphosphonates but that to be taken after evaluation and consultation of specialist.
