Dear lybrate-user
When benefit outweigh the risk medicines are given to the children under 1 year age and your doctor had done his job best by helping you with the medication. Please don’t have any doubt in continuing the medication. And also please don’t use medication on your own or on any online suggestions because you are trying to treat a small baby. Take the baby to near by pediatrician whenever the baby falls sick. Get well soon.

Don't panic at all. These are not lumps just they are a group of lymph nodes situated below your jaw. They are normal anatomical structures. If you feel pain in them or tenderness or pain during swallowing then it can b a sign of infection for that you can consult your near by doctor otherwise no need to take antibiotics without any prescriptions.

lybrate-user ji, thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details mentioned. The skin infection (boils) can recur if complete eradication doesn't occur. The antibiotics that you have been on may not as effective on staphylococcal infection. Plus there is a need to have a stricter blood glucose control. So please look at these aspects.
