The guidelines are to stop medicines after a 3 years of last attack. I guess you have not had seiure at all and the medicine was prescribe as a precaution. Ideally youi should stop the medicine, it has to be tapered down gradually over 3 months, this with the clear understanding that though the risk is less nobody can guarantee that seiure cannot occur, but hen nobody can guarantee that while on medicine you will not have any seizure. I suggest you taper medicine and take precautions.

Its great that you tried seeking help by consulting a psychiatrist. However, it is equally important to seek psychotherapy (either online or in person) from a licensed clinical psychologist to battle anxiety. It's proven that psychotherapy along with medicines provide best results. All the best

Dear, oxetol contains the active ingredient oxcarbazepine, which is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer. There are many long term side effects and you can read them on cims website. Regarding memory, there are nothing significant. Still you may consult your doctor for further advise. Take care.
