I was having intestinal infection and my intestines were swollen around 2 weeks back. I took medicines for 10 days with an injection called mikacin. After stopping the medicines I had stomachache again. I changed a few medicines and still I am facing stomach ache whenever I eat. Plus I get tired easily these days. I am not eating anything outside and eating fluid diets only. When and how will this end.

hi. you should pass adequate urine , take adequate liquid or semisolid diet. dehydration is a major prob in dysentery. upgrade antibiotics.

I have been diagnosed with infection of the oral cavity. I have been prescribed Ciprofloxacin (Ciplox 500 mg) and Mikacin Injection 500 mg IV for 5 days. I have completed 3 days of the injection. However, now I notice a lump at the site of ulceration in the buccal mucosa. Is it a side effect or is it a sign of the ulcer getting healed?

Lump coming now is not a good sign and Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I will suggest you to take injection vitcofol 2cc intramuscularly every alternate days for five pricks over the buttocks through a health professional and you will find relief in your symptoms after the second injection

First three are used as an antibiotic and trenexa is used to stop bleeding and flora bc is used as an probiotic and I will suggest you to confirm it with your treating doctor.

I am in the first trimester of my pregnancy. My lmp was 14-07-2016. I was injected with five mikacin 500 mg from 14-09-16 to 16-09-16 from my gynecologist. But some other gynecologist warned me of the side effect that the baby may have deafness problem. Please tell whether I should continue with this pregnancy or not? Please doctor revert me fast. Because I am in too much stress bcz of this.

Mikacin can sometimes cause deafness but not in all cases. There is no test right now, by which we can predict the hearing problem. If you do not want to take chance, that's ok. But if you continue pregnancy, you must tell your paediatrician about it, so that he can arrange for the tests immediately to check baby's hearing condition.

My father is hospitalised for cellulitis and increased pus cell in urine culture and monocef and mikacin injection are continued as he is heart and valve patient also and had diabetes too, but his fever is not going down whenever calpol is given it is 99 for sometimes and then again it is 100 or above 100. My niece is 18 years old, she has mdr tb with meningitis. She has completed almost 8 month treatment with below medicines, she is on amikacin 600 mg * 5 days a week injection for almost 8 months, along with dexa 0.5 mg (steroid). Dexa tapered from 12 mg to 1 mg gradually, but she has developed avn so dexa 1 mg suddenly stopped. After 3 days of dexa 1 mg stopped, she stared to get fever & vomiting & neck pain. Is it due to dexa stopped? Her doctor suspects this fever is because of one of the mdr tb drug so she has suggest to stop all mdr tb medicines. Also yesterday when were checking her fever, the bip of thermometer she is not able to hear, even we brought the thermometer close to her ear even then also was not able to hear but what we speak she can here clearly. Is it because of amikacin? Should we stopped amikacin as only 10 days left to complete 8 months amikacin course. What would be the next plan about amikacin if the problem is like this. Request you to please suggest at the earliest. Amikacin 600 mg * 5 days a week ethionamide 250 mg 1-1 linezolid 300 mg clofazimine 100 mg cycloserine 250 mg 1-1 moxifloxacin 400 mg dexa 4-4-4 18 days then taper off.
