Dear Shika,
Consuming alcohol is risky in general, particularly for liver. GGT 114 may be more specific to liver damage due to alcohol. SGOT and SGPT are important liver enzymes that are increased more than twice. Ultrasound abdomen will show whether liver has increased in size or decreased. If it is fatty, it will be reversible, if your husband stops drinking alcohol.
Doctors can help him with withdrawal symptoms management, anticraving drugs and aversion drug, if he decides to quit. Pl...more

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
If elevated abnormal liver enzymes are present, it could indicate liver damage, as these enzymes are normally only found within the liver. In most cases, liver enzyme levels are only mildly or temporarily elevated and don't signal a serious liver problem.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.
