Hi .yes sudden stopage of steroid cream like betnovate wil flare up the condition. Stop it and use low potent steroid like dosetil cream for few days and den do gradual tapering and stop .use intense moisturizer along with it like biosilk/ hydronic/ aquasoft fc cream 3 times daily.
