Hi, In my left ear Some time I feel like opening and close. I showed to doctor yesterday. He told me no blockage outside. May be internal ear issue due to environmental pressure change may be. He gave me medicine betahistine di hydrochloride 8 mg tablet to eat medicine three times a day.

1. Avoid salt/ coffee/chocolate /mint 2. Use t. Vertin (betahistine 16 mg) 1-1-1 * 2 weeks after food 3. Diuretic medications (tablets that remove water from body) are sometimes helpful if symptoms persist.

I was having a problem of buzzing sound in the ears. I visited an ENT, after examining he took out wax from my left ear and I felt good and sound had gone. He tried to take out from right ear also but un successful, asked me to try out a medicine Betavert and wax off for 5 days and come back for removal of wax. My issue is that this is going on for past five yrs. Is there an solution for excess wax formation as this is becoming a mental problem. Please suggest. Thanks.

Don't think so much Mr. lybrate-user.some people have a tendency for excess wax formation
for such a small problem, you should not be afraid.
In any case it's advisable to visit for regular checkup every year. You might visit ent doctor also.

20 years of vertigo is no joke. Get complete audio vestibular tests done. First diagnose if it is meniere's syndrome, BPPV, Vestibular neuronitis, etc then start treatment.

Nasal polyps have no relation with tinnitus. Tinnitus and vertigo both and if hearing loss is also present needs evaluation and complete history to aid in diagnosis.

Sir iam suffering with slight giddiness/vertigo. My doctor suggested ecosprin and vertipress 8mg. After mri to brain. The report is that" small focal areas of abnormal signal seen scattered in the periventricular white matter on either side, of indeterminate nature, concern for ischemic/migranous white matter lesions" iam having neck pains also. The doctor told me that it is common after 45 years age. Use ecosprin tablet life long. Pl suggest me is this vertigo is due to what exactly. Iam 50 years old.
