Dear lybrate-user
for bppv no medicine helps as permanent cure. You must be given certain maneuvers as treatment option. Example epleys maneuver. It cures bppv without medications. Stop searching in different pathys. Go to good ent doctor in banglore who does vertigo treatment well. Search find out and get relieved.

Traction is absolutely safe. Its to maintain inter vertebral space to keep the nerves from undue pressure which is caused by reduction in spaces or development of osteophytes etc. Vessels are also compressed. Because of compression in vertebral column, the blood supply to brain is also lowered sometimes thereby causing giddiness. When you lie down blood supply to brain is restored. Similarly pressure on nerves makes life tough.
