Dear user, I can understand. You must understand the difference between alcohol addiction and abuse. You can definitely quit alcohol in one go. Just stop it and swear not to drink again. Engage yourself in games and other engaging activities during evenings or when you feel the urge. Just a week, your habit should change. There are many other methods, which you can see through internet. The best method is what I suggested. Please try it without fail. Take care.

Yes as you are aleready immunised, there is no need to take the full course now and for one year. Only two booster doses will be enough.

Dear user, you can get the rabies serological test to know the tire values. Since you are on your 3rd dose your titers should be high and most likely the scratch will not be of any concern. You can consult me for more doubts regarding this online by clicking on my photo and booking an appointment however, if you found my answer helpful, please leave a positive feedback as it helps me with my practice. Thank you.

The immunity acquired from the vaccine can last a long time. The longevity of rabies vaccine ranges between 3 to 10 years depending on the booster dose that is given. For example, to prevent rabies, rabies vaccinations are given three times, on the day of the first injection and on day 7 and day 21 after the first injection. For those who have a high exposure of rabies, it is suggested to receive 1 booster dose once a year and every 3 to 5 years.
