This could lead to increased tolerance levels so that over time you will need to drink more to get the same or greater effect. You need to identify why you need to drink, and go back into your childhood to find out other influences on your personality that makes you prone to addiction. If you are a regular drinker, motivational therapy with a trained psychotherapist or a psychiatrist and enormous will power will help you quit. If you are a diseased drinker, consult a de addiction psychiatrist at the earliest. He may give you anti-craving medications and de addiction treatment. It may involve getting admitted to a deaddiction unit for 15-30 days.
