there are some people who take daily 1 peg and feel quite healthy , a few others get various illness after consuming small quantities. I suggest that it is better to wash hand for 20 sec with soap and water then use sanitisers. If there is no provision of soap and water then think of sanitiser. Cdc recommends use of 65-90% ethyl or isopropyl alcohol. Take care.

Your husband seems to be dependent on alcohol. He may be normal without alcohol. Tell him you like him at that time. Motivate him to sleep without alcohol.
