Hi
1st of all try quitting smoking and then I would suggest you to take an antibiotic therapy so that the throat infection settles.
I would suggest you to visit an ent specialist doctor to get a legit prescription of antibiotics.

You can prepare various mouth wash like made from clover, Place cloves in a heat-proof container (such as a canning jar). Pour boiling water over cloves.
