Usually steroids are also added to reduce the oedema of the facial nerve. Bells palsy is self limiting. Should recover in 2-3 months although some residual effect may remain. U must focus on facial excercises.

. Bell’s Palsy
1. Caus is Unknown, some times it could be due to Herpes Virus infection, 2. There is Paralysis of one side of face due to damage of facial nerve,
3. It may affect sense of taste, saliva, tear.
4. It Comes suddenly and gets better on ts own in 4-8 week.

kindly take mahayogaraja guggal tabs, 2 tabs, twice a day with balarishta, 3 tsf ai half a glass of warm water, after meals. Take brahmi vati (gold) tabs, 1 tabs, twice a day, 1 hr after meals with a cup of warm milk. Do nasal drops with ksheer bala oil, 2 drops in each nostril before meals, twice a day. Continue the regime for 45 days. Avoid cold water and other cold eatables in your diet. Cut down sugar, salt, intake in your diet. good luck

But it's very difficult to loose weight after steroids ingestion, Go for proper diet, walking, exercises, it will take such a long time, if not go for proper weight loss program, if results are assured.
