Metoprolol will only treat the autonomic (i.e. Heart rate and BP symptoms) of anxiety not the cognitive symptoms (those related with mind like anxious mood, feeling apprehensive, fear, etc) they are treated by medications by psychiatrists, which may even make your metoprolol dose less or not required at all, so kindly consult a psychiatrist as anxiety disorder is a primary psychiatric disorder. All the best.

Hello lybrate-user.
You should follow the doctor's advice. But after stopping the medication, you may need to be vigilant and in case of any abnormal symptoms you should immediately contact the doctor.
Allopathic medicines hardly can be withdrawn in absence of other treatment.

Hi,
You are taking 4 different classes of antihypertensive when neither is being taken in its highest dose, which is the standard method.
So yes Cilacar M can be taken in place of EMBETA AM.
You should also ask your doctor to increase the dose of Olmezest first.
Thanks

Dear Lybrateuser, your medication is for BP, Cholesterol.
The BP dose will be according to your need, so if doctor has reduced the dose, you can understand that your BP is much better than before.
Continue your medicines and doctors advice and don't forget to keep measuring BP.
Wishing you good health.
