Dear lybrate-user,
Thanks for reaching out. Low heart rate and feelings of dizziness is unlikely to be associated with relapse of anxiety disorder. Anxiety will usually lead to higher heart rate rather than low. The fact that you are concerned about the corelation is a normal anxiety which anyone would have.
That said, yes low heart rate can be due to tebormin, which contains atenolol. I am not sure why it was added as a medication for raised BP, because its usually not the first choice....more

Atenolol is similar to metoprolol and will work similarly amlodipine is another bp medicine, so combination is double dose. If atenolol keeps bp controlled then amlodipine need not be taken, but if it is high with atenolol then combination should be tried.

You have lost your sex desire. I advise you to do meditation for mental strength by doing slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take lots of water and fluids.

Atenolol 200 is a quite high dose. Need to consult your cardiologist whether you really need it. Have a close monitoring of your heart rate.

that medicine is best which controls BP without much side effects. Atenolol has been used for nearly 50 years with excellent safety in younger ages like your mother. If BP is uncontrolled there are other good options which can be discussed if needed. Best wishes
