You can take amaryl mc 2 instead of azulix mf 2/0.2 and both the tablets are same with different brand names. There is a mild increase only 0.1 mg of voglibose in azulix mf 2/0.2.

You can add galvus to your current medicines instead of switching if your liver n kidney function test are normal and if you never had pancreatitis. Monitor your sugar levels every week to 10 days to see response.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
When one is on treatment for diabetes with appropriate medication, plus taking proper diet and doing regular exercises, blood glucose should be maintained as follows: fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Considering those standards, your blood glucose levels are still not well controlled. Thre is need to give a closer look at the treatment, exercise and diet too. Thanks.

You are basically on almost maximum allowed tablets, even then ur sugars are still on the higher side.Hope u had taken the tablet and done the tests on the day of the tests.
Two option, go for one small dose of night time insulin(lantus) or add tablet onglyza 5mg in the morning. Do a hba1c and revert back.
