Diabetes sometimes becomes progressively more severe. Hence the old dosage may not be adequate and newer drugs may be needed to achieve better control. This happens because of high blood glucose and fat causing damage to beta cells (insulin secreting cells in pancreas). Therefore, you will have to check blood glucose regularly. If you maintain fasting < 100 mg, PP 150 to 170 mg & HbA1c% < 6.8, then pancreatic cells function better.

You can use fish oil but it has not shown any proven mortality benefit, but you can use there is no harm.
Also I hope his angiography has been done to rule out blockages in his coronaries also I recommend the new drug tab vymada to increase his pumping! ofcourse cardace needs to be stopped first before starting this and discuss with your cardiologist regarding this drug as its an expensive one. Tc.
