I got throat infection from past 2 days. I got fever on the first day. I used Azithromycin Tablets (AZAX-500). There is no use of it. My baby boy ,age 5. 7 years suffering with high fever from afternoon. I gave him Rxmef syrup he not recovered upto evening I gave two times ,then 8 'O clock I gv azithromycin syrup 5 ml (Azax 200 mg) along with rxmef .After 1 hr my boy went for watery motions for 6 times within 3 hours and vomited what he ate. And felt abdominal pain slightly .wats the wrong ,I dont know azithromycin syrup suggestible or not.

The fever of your son was the result of an intestinal infection as shown by vomiting and abdominal pain along with loose stools. He needs to be given ORS and prebiotics (like Nutrolin B) and there is no harm in continuing the azithromycin for its 3 day course.

My baby is 3 years 8 months old. She is getting small red spots on her body. She recently got fever, cold and cough. After taking medicines, now she is relieved of fever. During that period, azax pediatric (azithromycin) was also given for sore throat. After using that, she got these red blister like spots. The red spots are on palms, foot, two spots on face near mouth, one on thigh and 3-4 on buttocks. We have consulted pediatrician regarding the problem. He diagnosed it as hand foot and mouth infection and said it is asymptomatic and will relieve by itself. The spots are not only shown on the hand and foot, they are also present on face, thigh and buttocks. Can any one kindly properly diagnose what these spots are?

Don't use any other drug than paracetamol only.
Common colds are caused by viruses. So antibiotics has no use in it. And antibiotic misuse has become a social problem.
Take paracetamol (500 mg), drink plenty of fluids (ors water), steam inhalation and take rest. If symptoms doesn't subside within 3 days or you have further questions please consult privately.

Hello Doctor, Last month I had bad throat and was almost got converted into cold and cough so whenever it happens I usually take Azax tablet for 3 days and I always get relief but I realized that as inspite of taking medicine I had some sort of heaviness and I started coughing so I did another course for 3 medicines and same next week also so approx 12 Azax tablet consumed in last 20-25 days. I have noticed that I have no running nose, cough etc but another strange thing happening to me is as soon as I speak for 20-30 minutes be it face to face or over phone I start coughing as if some cough about to come out and got stuck somewhere in my throat. Please make a note if I don't talk more I won't get this problem I am perfectly fine Isn't weird? I last week put heating pad on my chest and as soon as I put that within 5 mins the heaviness in the chest gone as if something got melted. I have spoke to 2 doctors and 1 of them referred this as Paroxysmal Cough and as I had Gastric problem earlier this year so doctor asked me to take Pantocid DSR, Montair LC, Syrup Ventrye D for 10 days but none of this worked today I showed to another doctor he referred this condition as Dyspepsia and advice me to take Rablet, Acidase, Tab Montair FX, Syrup Codistar, Tab Cepodem. Please advice if I am on right track for sure I have cough inside why everyone when I told them I had completed Pantocid HP course for 14 days refer my current condition to a gastric condition I am damn sure some bad cough has stuck somewhere inside the body. Please help.
