I have received your query through Lybrate. Your son has fever of viral origin, and only for 2 days. Antibiotics are not indicated at present. Only symptomatic treatment will suffice with paracetamol 325 mg.
If fever persists for 2 days, then further tests are required plus clinical evaluation.
