Take azithromycin 500 mg. Start with 2 tab mean 1000 mg once on first day. Then 500 mg once daily for 7 days along with Taxim o. U need two drugs together for 7 days. Take plenty of water and ors.

Health Query

My daughter is 4 year old. Had issues with her speech, she can speak A-Z, (with some letters wrong pronounced) numbers, started (clear) repeating words just heard from us, but will not speak for her requirements, also utters a lot word repetitive of no rightness. Will not express what she wants to. Just learned to tell her name, by repeated practice, but may not understand what she is speaking up. She is our only child, lived almost with us (nuclear family), we might have taken extra care for her, not got chance to mix with children other than her play school time. Some time we took her to parks & other public areas, where she freely enjoys company of other kids & cooperate. She is playful, joyful & loves dancing. Only disturbing is her lacking vocal expression, she tries to demand all her work by pointing, bringing it (choice of dress, she likes) or moving. How much we should concern on her, do she require specialist guidance or we as parent should give her more time with our own normal ways of teach. Please help.

Hi, My son (30 yrs old), is suffering from low grade fever for the last 10 days. In the morning his temperature is 97.8 - 98.2 and at (9 am - 11 am) it is 98.6. After that any time between 11 am to 4 PM it rises to 99.2 and at night its is again 98.4 - 98.8. He has lower backache, leg & thigh pain, fatigue and sometime heaviness on the head. He has taken Cepodem for 5 days & Cepodem AZ for the last 5 days. But the fever pattern is the same. Kindly explain the reason and treatment and if any other test is required. He had done Widal test, but it is negative (1/40) only. We had done some other test like - TLC, ESR, Liver, Chest - Xray & Ultra sound (Whole Abdomen). All reports are normal. Please help we are very much worried now.

get c reactive proteins done
urine complete examination
pbf, malarial parasite
take complete rest for 3 days
plenty of fluids, fresh fruits and high protein diet.

Hi team, I am haseena, I am looking for treatment for my grandfather, he is 75 years old because of corona no doctor is willing to see him right now. He is having high fever, body pain, weakness, abnormal sweating, unable to eat, unable to talk or may be forgetting what he wants to say and can not say it & his blood pressure is getting very low, he is a heart patient for which medicines are already been taken. Medicines are tab ecosprin 150 mg, cap metolar xr 50 mg, tab ramihart 5 mg, tab rosulip 10 mg. Yesterday he went to nearest clinic the doctor saw him from very far distance and prescribed some medicines, but after taking those medicines no effects were shown, the condition is same. The prescribed medicines are tab telekast l and tab a-z gold. For fever he is taking crocin. Kindly suggest what should we do? Please tell us the treatment details as soon as possible. Hi Lybrate user.
Your father is 75 year old and also a heart disease, so high risk for covid19. So this is one possibility. Go for covid19 test.
For how long he has fever? Chills rigor? Burning micturition/ increased frequency? His mental condition is not sound so one possibility is hyponatremia.
If you are able to go for investigation then do these tests-
cbc, rbs, s. Creatinine, sgpt, bilirubin, s.electrolytes, mp test, elisa typhidot igm, chest xray pa view, c/s urine.

When I wake up some day water like discharge slight I think of gonorrhea. Urine routine and culture is normal. But I think better to take treatment for gonorrhoea. I had a course of azithromycin 500 mg 1 month back. Augmentin 625 mg course also had for teeth problem. Sir cefixime 400 mg a single dose is it enough for completely cure gonorrhea? Please reply asap?

Hello-
It is not safe to self administer medication without proper diagnosis. Watery discharge does not signifies gonorrhea. Its better to diagnose the disease by consulting a proper sexologist, thn only the treatment will benefit you.

Now my b.p is 140/80 and bsf is 139 p.p is 190 before a month I got injured .for that I took 20 tab of cefixime and azithromycin 200 each .and traxol 1 gm 4 injection to cure my injury .now my injury is fine but now I am feeling lots of weakness that's why always I feel dizziness so unable to do any of my work .why it is happening what is the problem and how it can cure.

Your weakness and dizziness is not related to injury or the medicines you took. You need to check up now . drink lot of water anyway
