I'm 27, male and accidentally scratched my ear canal with a qtip (cotton ear buds) while cleaning. There was minor bleeding for few minutes which has stopped. Afterwards cleaned ear off the the blood with lukewarm water. No hearing loss or buzzing sound. Have ear pain and extends to my jaw especially when chewing. Applied cold compress for pain and for any possible inflammation. Have mild fever a day after injury due to pain (4 on a pain scale of 10). Used dolo 650 mg for the pain and fever. Is it advisable to use azibact-500 to prevent possible ear infection and puss build up? Not in a position to visit a doctor hence the self-medication. Thanks.

Hello ian have taken accidentally azithromycin tab 500 mg 2 time a day total take tablets 5 in 3 days my question is that that which Dr. have me azithromycin tablet told me that you have to take this tablet in five days it. Have side effect and will harm you plzz tell me. What.will I do now to lower the side effect of azithromycin and can I take any other antibiotics now like cefixime and ofloxacin tab as Dr. percibesd me now this fir red throat and what to d plzz reply as soon as possible.

It depends if you are experiencing any undesirable effects or not. You may experience nausea, vomiting,loose motions, palpitations (ghabrahat). If you experience any of these consult a doctor. Ofloxacin should not be taken with azithro.

I have been using azifast gel ie azithromycin for 1 year along with epiduo cream at night, it seems not to be working, before this I used to use medicine ie clindamycin and different cream at night. The way I applied both was different azithromycin twice daily, but clindamycin, I apply it before applying any makeup or sunscreen or anything and on top of it I applied the makeup. It was working well. Can I just start trying to use clindamycin the old way again. I was using azithromycin for 1 year, will that cause an issue? Also medicine was a product I got in the uae, in india I am getting clindamycin phosphate gel 1%,is it the same, is it ok to use that?

treatment depends on the grade..Acne or pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Can I take dolo 650 if asthalin is taken? I am suffering from a fever. Already consumed azithromycin two hrs before. Can I take dolo 650 & asthalin now? Feeling difficulty in breathing & have temperature too. Consumed azithromycin 2 hours back. Took dolo 659 in the morning when temperature was there.

For fever take one tablet paracetamol 650 mg and can repeat it after eight hours as and when needed along with asthalin and Get your vital parameters of the body checked from a nearby doctor and follow up with findings

Age 30. Doctor prescribed me azithromycin and levofloxacin together for 10 days for epigastric pain, along with gastrocon-r, flupentixol+melitracen, omeprazole,probiotic combination. Is it safe to take the combination of azithromycin and levofloxacin together for 10 days? Can I take remaining medicines without these two antibiotics?

Yes it's completely ok to take both the antibiotics together.
Since you are having epigastric pain for 10 days even I would suggest as a doctor that you should take these antibiotics and not think about skipping them.

Iv been having troubles with acne on my face for the last 6 months. I went to see a skin specialist who then prescribed for me azithromycin, doxycycline and zupricin ointment. Now the problem is when I use doxycycline alone there seems to be slight changes. Upon using zupricin ointment it gives me an itchy effect that drives me crazy plus painful white heads appear. Should I discontinue with ointment and azithromycin?

Health Query

I recently had some pain in left testicle and some penis discharge for 2 days. I had an unprotected sex. Doctor gave me 4 tablets of azithromycin (250 mg each, 4 flagyl (400 mg each) and one dose of rocephen. As rocephen was not available I took azithromycin and flagyl together and took rocephen injection after 15 hours. Is this ok? Or it should have been taken together?
