Am using azeflo for allergic rhinitis, its not working, so I have used otrivin, can I take both together, is there any problem if I mix both azeflo and otrivin.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user,
azeflo is a combination of an antihistamine and a low dose steroid. Otrivin is a very powerful decongestant. They work differently and are used for different purposes. You should consult an ent surgeon to better understand your symptoms and get the appropriate treatment. Otrivin is not recommended for use for more than 5-7 days as it can cause a lot of other problems in time.

Hi, I am 27 years female, diagnosed with allergic rhinitis. I am using fluticasone nasal spray and montair Lc tablet everyday. Are these harmful if used for prolonged time? Also if I stop using it, after some days I get sneezes repeatedly, red watery eyes, swelling around eyes, headache rarely. Resuming the medicines helps me. But is it harmful and will I have to use them throughout? All this started from June 2017.

Use Nasal spray regularly. They are relatively safer. Use of anti allergic drugs for prolonged use is not recommended. Use anti allergic when symptoms are increased.

Allergic rhinitis doesn't require any antibiotics like amoxy clav to cure it unless any acute infection (sinusitis) is there. Best suited antiallergic medication will do the job.

I'm covid positive and i'm using prednisolone steroids everything is gud i'm in tampering of steroid course 6 days left and at this tym in my nose I got edinords which is some little big and previous ent Dr. reccomed to use fluticasone furoate nasal spray can I use that spray now during this tym plch help me out.
