Medicines you are giving her are alright it will take some time to recover give her complete bed rest and sift easily digestible homemade food in smaller quantities and once her fever is over you can add some vitamin supplements to regain her health faster.

- Do warm salt water gargles three times a day
- have plenty of oral fluids including 7-8 glasses of water for proper hydration
- have more of warm fluids including water, tea, coffee & soup, avoid all cold fluids and refrigerated foods
- take tablet Cheston-C, 1 tablet twice a day
- take cough lozenges twice a day
- avoid fried, spicy, sour & junk foods
- consult a local doctor if not much improvement in a couple of days.

ask the mother to take warm tea or turmeric milk before feeding the baby, avoid all sour and cold foods,

Though it has local action only but chloramphenicol is better you avoid as it came in catrgory c i.e though it has benefits but side effects are more in pregnancy.
I suggest use azee ear drops and candid ear drops. One in morning and one at night.
