Hi,
firstly if you are self-medicating, you shouldn't. You need to see a doctor for a severe cough.
Secondly, to answer your question. Both are antibiotics and their use depends on physicians choice for the particular condition the patient is suffering from.

I am married. Unexpectedly three months back I had homosex. After this I continuing sex with my wife. After this I got too stressed and fear about HIV. I am usingvoxidep (fluvoxamine 100 mg, nexito plus (Escitalopram (5 mg) Clonazepam (0.5 mg. Just week days back I got fever, cough with throat pain. Doctor prescribed paracetamol 500 mg, antibiotic azee 500 (Azithromycin 500 mg) ,levoctrizinedihydrochlode (5 mg. By using these all medicines I and my wife appeared for HIV test and VDRL test Result came negative. Can we believe this report or not? Now my doubts are. In case of homosex and normal sex (men to woman) is window period same? If we continue sex in window period. Is it extends? Are these all medicines what I used affect HIV and VDRL test results? Will I go HIV test for again? If it need after how many days I should go for test? Presently I am continuing sex with my wife is it affect HIV window period? I appeared for VDRL test also. It came negative What meant by VDRL Above medicines can affect VDRL test result? Shall I go any more tests? Please recommend to me.
