Doc I am having fever headache and cough and cold from few days and I consulted with my doctor and he gave me azithromycin and I have taken for two days its okay but I am having yellow pee. Is it due to intake of azithromycin? Doc.

I need some more questions about your symptoms, as azithro might not relieve your fever and cold immidiately, few more medications needed to be taken, and yes yellow pee is fine, just drink ample amount of water.

Can I take 500 mg of azithromycin twice a day with 12 hours interval for my throat infection? Or should I two 500 mg tablets of azithromycin at once during the day? Furthermore does taking the dosage either way have an effect on how long it will take for my bacterial infection to go away?

If once daily is relieving you, better take it only once a day after food
gargle with luke warm water avoid all sour n cold foods
take plenty if fluids.

My son is 5 yrs old.He is having adenoid problem and also taunsil. Doctor asked me to give AZIBACT LR (200mg) 5 ml once a week.She also gave L Months Kid tablet daily.Metaspray has been given for nose block.Can I continue this.Will there be any side effects because of these medicines.I took Homeo treatment for 1 yr.But no improvement. The following test has been performed (urine culture, malaria,typhidot ,Widal test) all are negative. No muscle pain ,no cough ,no rashes Sir tell me what to do. Medicine I am taking are dolo-650 ,azax-500.

For fever take one tablet paracetamol 650 mg and can repeat it after eight hours as and when needed and I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and get an Xray chest done and follow up with reports.

Hello Dr. I have wheezing cough for last 2 months. While I took montair lc and azax 500, I got relief. however, the problem is after discontinuing it I have got the cough again. It doesn't affect much but when I sleep in night while breathing out, this sound irritates me. I take steam with vicks, green tea, kadha everything, yet. Please suggest what should I do? Should I go for xray n blood test?
