There are no specific medications that treat myositis. However, corticosteroids such as prednisone (Rayos) are often prescribed. Doctors often prescribe this drug with immunosuppressant drugs such as azathioprine (Azasan) and methotrexate (Trexall).
Due to the nature of this disease, it may take several changes in your therapy for a doctor to find the right treatment plan for you. Work with your doctor until the best course of action is achieved.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Usually, an initial test measures the total bilirubin level (unconjugated plus conjugated bilirubin). If the total bilirubin level is increased, the laboratory can use a second test to detect water-soluble forms of bilirubin, called "direct" bilirubin.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hiatus hernia has very good response with surgery and relief from symptoms is quick. Surgery can be done laparoscopically with small holes.
But get her assessed first if she is fit to undergo surgery as you say she has othet assocated problems.
Otherwise medication as is going and some lifestyle change is the only solutuon, eg head end up when lying down by 30 deg, not bending forward. Regds.
