The typhoid is only easy to cure with an antibiotic course of 14 days and you do not need many treatments as you said. You can also take ceftriaxone injection which is the standard treatment.

There are different antibiotics prescribed for treating different types of sexually transmitted diseases (stds). Antibiotics prescribed by health experts include cefixime (suprax), ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin. Cefixime, ciprofloxacin and ofloxacin are given orally, while ceftriaxone is administered intramuscularly. It is advised not to take any medicine without your doctor's consultation.

Hi
Troxone is an antibiotic called CEFTRIAXONE. This can be given in diabetics and hypertensives under the guidance of a doctor as we will have to look into other medications that the patient is taking and see if there is any interactions. Especially blood thinners.

Increasing rates of gonococcal (gc) infection and antimicrobial resistant (amr) gc, are a serious public health concern
according to the latest euro-gasp results, 86% of patients with available information on their treatment course received ceftriaxone (with or without) azithromycin. The use of two antimicrobials for gonorrhoea therapy, which was introduced in 2012, has likely contributed to increased susceptibility to ceftriaxone.

Patients treated with appropriate antibiotics in the early stages of Lyme disease usually recover rapidly and completely. Antibiotics commonly used for oral treatment include doxycycline, amoxicillin, or cefuroxime axetil. Patients with certain neurological or cardiac forms of illness may require intravenous treatment with drugs such as ceftriaxone or penicillin.

For empiric treatment of uncomplicated typhoid fever, the IAP recommends cefixime and, as a second-line agent, azithromycin. For complicated typhoid fever, they recommend ceftriaxone. ... In the United States, it is still used specifically for S typhi infection.

Dear ,
if you are taking ciprofloxacin 500 mg then take 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals with only water and not with milk for 15 days and check urine again to see pus cells have come down to 5 or less. Medications fine.
