Hello,
the slowness of the child is due to developmental delay either due to hypoxia or inherent brain formation. As you. Have not mentioned any details about his behaviour its difficult to pin point the cause of slow development, but I feel that medicines may not help him and I will tell you why.
Of course he does require lacosam in correct dosage to control his seizures so that he does not have recurrent seizures.
Frankly personally I feel that neuciti plus and nicerbium are not go...more

I am under treatment for severe adhd. I’ve been prescribed concert and medicines (methylphenidate) but haven’t responded well to it. After a couple days I stopped because I was having a lot of anxiety and some other minor side effects, but I did’t feel any improvement. If I try ritalin would it be different? I know that it is the same substance just not the same delivery mechanism but does it have the mechanism of action. Or maybe I should try the same medications i’ve been prescribed a little longer and see if it has a different effect? I figured that I should conclude on the effectiveness and respond of the substance on my brain the first time I took it as it is a stimulant but I am not sure. I want to try amphetamine based stimulants but they are’t available in france (there is one -attention 5 mg, a form of dexamfetamine- but it is extremely difficult to have it prescribed). I will soon be on strattera (atomoxetine) and I wonder after a few weeks when it should normally reach its effectiveness will it “work” like a stimulant? I mean will the effects be felt on a daily basis after taking the pill? Thank you.

Hello! sounds to me like you are feeling quite confused and frustrated in the moment. It may be helpful for you to continue the dosage prescribed by your psychiatrist. Sometimes medicines take time to work. All medicines need to be taken for the time they have been given. The regimen matters in psychiatric medication. Unlike other meds, we can not choose to reduce dosage or stop taking. That being said, finish the course and then go to psychiatrist to explain side effects. Sometimes side effects...more

Hello; first you have to stop giving him neurocetum or similar named syrup you are giving him. What is your son's weight & height? c. Atomoxetine (acepta) is a very good medication & we can increase its dose depending on your sons responses like studies, behavior in class etc. In addition, there are other good medications like methylphenidate, clonidine also which can be prescribed if required. Do revert back for further help. Good luck.

At thisyoung age of 5 yrs, you understand you might be thinking of finding some ways to reduce hyperactivity. But then this must be causing him non attention. But somehow this is too young age to start medication. You are required to learn different ways to deal with his hyperactivity, by engaging him in physical eye hand and muscular coordination activities whereby he will not only enjoy but learn to orient his physical excess energy. Occupational therapy should also be applied.
