Hi, I am 39 years old male. I have severe anaphylaxis allergy for drotaverine drug. When I was admitted on hospital 5 years ago after that they had given me dexamethasone iv. Can I take covid vaccine? Is it safe for me?

if you have allergy with drotavarine then allergy is related with droatavarine.
You have allergy with drotavarin and not with covid vaccine.
You can take the vaccine thank you.

Hello lybrate-user, don't worry at all, dexamethasone is just an adjuvant drug given during the peril-implantation period. But it has not shown any positive impact on increasing the pregnancy chances. So your result won't be affected by missing that.

I am a 32 year old male have had a urethra infection for a couple months now a urethra swab was done about 2 weeks ago and the sensitivity test show that chloramphenicol was reactive I have finished the dose today ad symptoms have gone away how long after finishing the dose can I resume unprotected sex.

It is clear that you are trying to self medicate.
Once the eyes are damaged there is no way to clear it.

I am 34 weeks pregnant with twins through ivf. My doctor told me to take dexamethasone Injections 12 mg x3 shots in 12 hours gap. I have heard that’s it’s a steroid injection and only 2 shots should be taken becuase too many shots can effect the cell membrane of brain of unborn child. So I am worried to take 3 shots. Can anybody solve my query? And I want to know that dexamethasone or Betamethasone which one is more safe for my babies?

Betamethasone I use, but it is ok to use another. 2 or 3 shots practically does not make difference.
