Nialip-750 is a brand name. The name of the medicine is nicotinic acid slow/controlled release. It is a drug that is indicated in high triglyceride levels not so much in high cholesterol levels. 15 years a long time, continuation of medicines depends on how improved the situation is or how severe it is, as you say the reports are normal in that case your personal doctor may have a more valid answer. Do keep continuing pranayam, avoid refined oil, use pure sarso (mustard) oil or virgin olive oil (cooking grade), do not let excess of fat come to your body.

Please control cholesterol by diet only. Avoid statins because of long term side effects. Lemon juice and apple cider vinegar does bring down cholesterol. But you seem to be having near normal levels. Don't cut down good fats like a spoon of desi ghee or butter and a katori of assorted nuts. We do require good fats like a car requires good oil for machinery to run smoothly.

You must be suffering from hypothyroidism and not hyperthyroidism. This disease is due to underfunctioning of your thyroid gland and is mostly irreversible, I am sorry, but in that case, you may have to continue with your treatment for life. Diabetes is also a progressive disease causing underfunctioning of your pancreas and requires similar treatment either through oral medicines and in later stages, insulin also may be required.
