Respected Doctor sahib 1 Tab .enapril Mal .10 mg or ecosprin-av 75 2 Tab atorvastatin 20 mg or udiliv 300 mg bd Above two medicines has same strength I am 60 years old. Can I take flex seed oil 1000 mg (with 400 mg omega -3,110 mg omega -6 ,110 mg omega -9) as supplement daily.

Both medicines listed here are entirely different. You can take flaxseed oil 1000 mg (with 400 mg omega -3,110 mg omega -6 ,110 mg omega -9) as supplement daily.

I am on METFORMIN 500 MG BID, LINAGLIPTIN 1 OD, VOGLIBOSE 1 BD, glimepiride 2 MG BD, ATORVASTATIN 10 mg HS, My latest BLOOD SUGAR Fasting 150 . PP 250. My HB1AC 7.7. I am advised Insulin 10 units before dinner. I have not started yet. Kindly advise have Foot pain in Left Leg.

Yes you can take insulin 10 units before dinner but which insulin it is humalog 30/70 but please check your sugar levels regularly for more information contact at my clinic or consult privately.

Sir. I desire to reduce medication ie ATORVASTATIN 20 to 10 mg as my lipid profile is well under control as posted above. Do I need to continue with NITROFIX SR 30 after 16 months (April 2017) of PTCA/Angioplasty performed in my main LA with 90% blockage. PLAVIX, ecosprin 75 (METLOR 25 & olmesartan 20 for BP is being continued since past 8 years) are in continuation.

I take 2 pegs of whiskey regularly since 20 years 25 days a month. I exercise daily, walking 5 km + 20 mint body tone up. Please suggest me that my drinking habit will course me a serious problem.

Avoid medicines. These can worsen liver enzymes. Cholesterol 150-310 are ok. It is best to reduce triglycerides by diet. Medicine is poor option, to be avoided. Best wishes.

I have undergone angioplasty 4 months back. I under meditation of brilinta 2 tabs daily, atorvastatin 1 tab daily, ecosprin 75 daily, starpress xl 75 in morning and starpress xl 50 in evening. Is it possible for me to stop this medicines anytime soon. I did not have any heart attack, but had detected 95% block in my left artery during regular chest examination. My age is 40.

Is there really any difference in salt quality of different brands. For example lipikind - 10 and storvas-10 both have same salt - atorvastatin (10 mg) but are from different manufactures and there is huge price difference. Similarly we have many other medicines like air 180 & allegra 180 both have fexofenadine (180 mg) but when it comes to price they both differ with huge margin. But is there any difference in efficacy or any other side effect provided same dose is being administered to the patient.
