Dear Sumit,
Lorazepam is used initially to control withdrawal symptoms of alcohol. It is tapered off within 2-3 weeks depending on the withdrawal symptoms. Nobody continues it for 2 years. Probably you are taking it by yourself. Luckily you have not increased from 2 mg. Please take MET, motivational enhancement therapy weekly for 12 weeks to withdraw yourself off lorazepam. Hi, Your symptoms do seem to correlate with those of anxiety disorders. I would urge you to, however, consult an ent to make sure it isn't copd. If you live in india, or any other polluted country, then copd can't be ruled out without proper investigation. If it is not a physiological issue, I would then suggest using mental health services. Both of them have their own side effects.

And please note that these drugs just increase your sleep but they doesn't relax your brain
(which is the main reason to sleep)
