Hello Doctor, My Mother is suffering with heavy cough and we have consulted doctor and he told that my mother" Right Lung" has damaged, hence she is Coughing. He suggested below medicines. Even after taking medicines she is coughing daily (from last 10 years on wards she is suffering the same problem) Doctor please provide the solution if there any treatment (surgery) to recover the lung and to get rid of cough. Ascoril plus contains terbutaline so not to be given over the counter as its indicated for wheeze. Give syp maxtra instead of ascoril plus.

Control asthma needs avoiding the allergens and taking bronchodilators like asthalin or better still terbutaline tablet and syrup. Also, nebulisation will help and avoid smoking and exposure to cold.

Alternate is syears ambroxol + bromhexine + terbutaline 5 ml tds.
It will not make to dry
