Hello, Thanks for the query. What your daughter has, is Common Cold in which the airway tubes get coated with mucous and makes them thinner making the passage of air difficult. Asthalin is a bronchodilator (medication which will melt the mucus accumulated in the airway). This melted mucus comes out as a cough, vomiting or in motion. It is commonly used in congestion for children of that age.

Asthma although can occur in any age but if it has started in childhood, by the age child reaches 15 years many will get cured, as the lung tissue also grows and body's immunity status also develops, but if it has continued till adulthood then it has lesser chances of complete cure. There are two aspects of treating asthma. One is relieving an attack. Second is preventing further attack. Asthalin is only to relieve an attack. It does not prevent asthma from worsening. Hence if you are requiring asthma three times daily you may need inhalers with extracontroller. Yet using asthalin Does not cause major side effects.

Amount of asthalin depend upon the sevirity of asthma, but you can use one amp. And n/saline water with it.

For fever take one tablet paracetamol 650 mg and can repeat it after eight hours as and when needed along with asthalin and Get your vital parameters of the body checked from a nearby doctor and follow up with findings

1 First check hemoglobin status.
2 In our country recurrent cold occur in anaemic pt Increase protein diet Protein mean complete protein.
Asthalin Syrup has more side effect in long term i.e more than 15 days relative to your complain.

You are taking inappropriate treatment. Bronchodilator without steroid should not be taken other than as on needed basis. It increases asthma related death risk. Plz revert back with detailed history including known allergies, history of frequent cold, day night variations in breathlessness.
