Hello lybrate-user. Regards.All the medicines have their side effects. So its benefit versus risk ratio that prescribing doctor considers before prescribing a drug. Hope you have consulted a Doctor and giving asthalin on his advice. One more thing babies are prone to have bronchoconstriction even though they are not asthamatics. Hence asthalin can be useful in those cases. Hope it helps you.

1.Do a complete blood examination like CBC, ESR, Mantoux test, X ray chest, Sputum examination.
2.Consult Chest physician with report.
3.Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily,
4.Avoid smoking if you smoke.

Levolin 0.31 mg respules are better as those are less side effects producing then asthalin. However for short term use no issues asthalin also is also good and safe.
