Asthma can b controlled well with inhaler medications. But first v have to assess it with lung function test. Asthalin will give you immediate relief but only for short while. U need to visit a proper chest physician to get your condition assessed and receive a tailored treatment for urself.

No, it is not okay. For mild problem better to nebulise baby with normal saline. Try to avoid oral medicine without consultation. Hope this will help you.

Hello, Thanks for the query. What your daughter has, is Common Cold in which the airway tubes get coated with mucous and makes them thinner making the passage of air difficult. Asthalin is a bronchodilator (medication which will melt the mucus accumulated in the airway). This melted mucus comes out as a cough, vomiting or in motion. It is commonly used in congestion for children of that age.

First try to understand Asthma. Asthma is the hyper-responsiveness of the respiratory tubes to some allergen. Please note that I mentioned the word "Hyper-Resposiveness" and not responsiveness. If somebody sneezes/coughs on inhalation of smoke then its responsiveness as your body is trying to protect you but if somebody developes suffocation or choking because on the inhalation of same smoke the its Hyper-responsiveness where your body is trying to overprotect you. Asthma is this tendency. By me...more
