For fever take one tablet paracetamol 650 mg and can repeat it after eight hours as and when needed and Whenever there is mucous discharge from the nostrils I will suggest you to take one tablet of cetrizine at night and For dry cough I will suggest you to take syp Ascoril-D 2.5 ml and can repeat after a gap of six hours as and when required

Push Liquids. Warm or very cold liquids make excellent cough remedies for kids because they thin out mucus, making it easier to cough up. Plus, liquids soothe a raw throat and keep your little one hydrated. Have your child drink ice water, cold or warm juice, or decaffeinated tea mixed with honey.

Hello lybrate-user, I can see you have given meds for wheeze, hopefully after paediatrician advise. First we have to understand that cough is a protective reflux of the body. Second, the medicine will depend on what causes the cough, whether it's viral uri or allergic type. 1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.
