No bad effect and all, medications in pregnancy are given after discussing the risk benefit ratio. Kindly continue as per your psychiatrist advise. All the best.

Risperidone is pregnancy category c. Which means use if benefits outweigh the risks. Same for asprito. There are not enough studies to say that the drug is safe during pregnancy. Having said that mental health of mother during and after pregnancy is of utmost importance. So many a times medication is necessary and you should consult a psychiatrist for the same.
Hope this helps. All the best!

Combining all these medications need not be feared as these are well within therapeutic range. But, are all these medications needed that too at lower levels of therapeutic range is a question only your mother's psychiatrist can answer as each patient varies. As such nothing to worry. But you can still consider second opinion about the choice of drugs and their dosages.

Aripiprazole is known to cause impulse control disorder and hypersexuality problems in some rare patients. My suggestion is to meet with a psychiatrist and switch to another antipsychotic medication. Thee are many alternative anti-psychotic medications available and one of them can certainly help you without any severe adverse effects.

Dear lybrate-user when we are aware about our problem we are able to control but we have to control it in a proper way. It's not good for your moms physical as well as your mental health. If you don't want to take medication for life time then please wake up yourself, medicines are not a perfect solution for mental health, you have to work on your own, your will power, your mind and thoughts. But due to certain reasons if you are on antidepressants you have to take some extra care of yourself. I...more

Sanlaz contains olanzepine. Ozapin contains the same and would be suitable.
Aripiprazole is a different medicine and I would not recommend switching to that without consulting your doctor.
