Aripiprazole is known to cause impulse control disorder and hypersexuality problems in some rare patients. My suggestion is to meet with a psychiatrist and switch to another antipsychotic medication. Thee are many alternative anti-psychotic medications available and one of them can certainly help you without any severe adverse effects.

Dear lybrate-user when we are aware about our problem we are able to control but we have to control it in a proper way. It's not good for your moms physical as well as your mental health. If you don't want to take medication for life time then please wake up yourself, medicines are not a perfect solution for mental health, you have to work on your own, your will power, your mind and thoughts. Sanlaz contains olanzepine. Ozapin contains the same and would be suitable.
Aripiprazole is a different medicine and I would not recommend switching to that without consulting your doctor.

You need psychological counseling and psychological autosuggestion therapy through the online process for three weeks without any medication for the removal of your psychological problems of ocd. You should know that medication has many side effects. You can contact me for this on Lybrate website or direct contact me for this on mobile. Thank you.

Sir,
my personal opinion is not to mix two pathies/ different modalities of treatment.
These are questions that you will not get a satisfying answer, its very difficult to comment from a allopathic doctor about ayurvedic medication and vice versa.
All modalities are good, please don't mix and match to see response.
