there are many causes for redness of eyes mainly allergy, infection, inflammation and dry eyes etc.
1. Redness + itching: allergy
2. Redness + pain + watering + decreased vision: infection
3. Redness + pain: inflammation
4. Redness foreign body sensation: dryness

Every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen
Blink more frequently'
Level of screen should be below the level of eyes

You cannot continue using the eye drop.and Ocutob D Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Dexamethasone and Tobramycin. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye red, swollen and itchy. Tobramycin is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth in the eye by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

it's quite long time before you had a foot drop and still not recovered. Recovery chances depends on your nerve. Need to take a nerve conduction study. And then you need to see based on the report findings if there are any changes of recovery or not.
