About Apraclonidine

Apraclonidine is used to treat glaucoma, a condition which can cause damage to the optic nerve and also vision loss due to high pressure in the eye. It is generally used in combination with other medications to help prevent eye surgery. This medicine works by decreasing the amount of fluid in the eye.

Possible side effects of this medicine include eye discomfort, eye redness, burning eye, blurred vision, dry mouth or nose, dizziness, upset stomach, and tiredness.
